Porch Project
My Porch Project has been a long process, but I am happy to say a very rewarding one. I don’t know why the cats won’t go through the cat door flap without a towel on both sides or why Grumpy and Little Man need the Christmas lights on at night to stick around. But whatever they want I try to give it to them. It is rewarding to see them hanging out in the porch in the evenings and still there when I go to bed. It is nice to see them asleep in their cat beds when I come downstairs for a snack in the middle of the night. It is fun seeing them playing in the porch when I come downstairs in the morning. It is also fun to just walk in my porch and play laser tag with them. I open up the porch door that leads to the kitchen so they can run back-and-forth from the porch to the kitchen and vice versa trying to catch the laser light. I know they like the porch, because they spend a lot of time out there and and I try to make sure it is a comfortable temperature for them.
